I Heart Mornings

Remember how last week I was a little upset at waking up at 5:50a?  Well, this week I did it on purpose.  No, I didn't set an alarm, but I did tell myself before bed that I wanted to be up early so I could go on a nice walk before heading to a craft fair later.  And I was up at 5:55a and on the sidewalk by 6am.
I did a longer walk than last week.  I walked the Illinois Prairie Path again (two handfuls of berries this time!), but I did an extra leg of it and then walked some neighborhood streets I hadn't been on before as I wound my way back to my house.  Google Maps tells me that it's exactly two miles, and I walked it at a 15min/mile pace until the last two blocks or so, when I slowed down to cool down.  It was glorious.  It's probably about 60F out right now, with low humidity and a cool breeze.
Oh, and the craft fair I'm headed to?  It's the Constructor Craft Fair, located in Berwyn.  I haven't been before, so I'm excited to check it out.

  1. I'm so jealous of all the craft fairs that happen in the Mid-west. I'll have to see what Washington DC is cooking up in that area.

I don't do mornings, unless I'm on vacation. But good for you! I'm glad to hear someone is seizing the day!
