Remember how last week I was a little upset at waking up at 5:50a? Well, this week I did it on purpose. No, I didn't set an alarm, but I did tell myself before bed that I wanted to be up early so I could go on a nice walk before heading to a craft fair later. And I was up at 5:55a and on the sidewalk by 6am.
I did a longer walk than last week. I walked the Illinois Prairie Path again (two handfuls of berries this time!), but I did an extra leg of it and then walked some neighborhood streets I hadn't been on before as I wound my way back to my house. Google Maps tells me that it's exactly two miles, and I walked it at a 15min/mile pace until the last two blocks or so, when I slowed down to cool down. It was glorious. It's probably about 60F out right now, with low humidity and a cool breeze.
Oh, and the craft fair I'm headed to? It's the Constructor Craft Fair, located in Berwyn. I haven't been before, so I'm excited to check it out.
I'm so jealous of all the craft fairs that happen in the Mid-west. I'll have to see what Washington DC is cooking up in that area.
ReplyDeleteI don't do mornings, unless I'm on vacation. But good for you! I'm glad to hear someone is seizing the day!
